Front of House Supervisor

 

We’re looking for a Front of House Supervisor to join the team at Fern Tree Tavern. Leading by example, you’ll run day to day operations on the floor, overseeing and mentoring staff to ensure that the Tavern runs smoothly and that excellent service is provided to all visitors.

 

About You:

It’s preferable that you’ve had experience supervising a team, but we’re open to folks who are looking to take a step up. You will have experience working in pubs and/or restaurants, be cool under pressure, have a strong customer focus, and possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Ability to operate an espresso machine is a big bonus (we can teach you if you don’t). You will need your own transport, as public transport can be patchy

 

About Us:

We’re a family friendly Tavern on the side of kunanyi/Mt Wellington, serving classic pub food, local craft beers & wines, and general good vibes. The Tavern is open for lunch and dinner Wednesday to Sunday. We're not a late night venue, closing time is generally around 9pm, a bit later when we have events or gigs.

 

The role is a casual position, with an option to go permanent if desired, and is 25 to 30 hours per week, working days and nights Wednesday to Sunday. If this sounds good to you, email your resume to jobs@ferntreetavern.com.au.
